The long-awaited version, Android 9.0 Pie, was released by Google a few days ago. People are eager to use the new version of Android, but they need to check if their phones are compatible with the new operating system version. Google Corporation has revealed some fascinating features of the Android in its annual Google I/O developer event. The Android is exclusively available for the Pixel phones, but some other phones are also compatible with Android 9.0 Pie.
Even though the Android 9.0 Pie is presently available for Google Pixel, Google is going to expand its beta partner devices. This will result in some other phones which will be compatible with Android Pie.
The other phone users can also get a glimpse of Android 9.0 Pie in their phones, but they have to create a backup of their data first. You can acquire the Android Pie with a system image. From the Google website of developers, you can download the OTA (over the air update) and flesh them to your device. Google Corporation stated that the installation of factory image will erase all the data from your device. So it is better to backup the data to your Google account before installing the image.
To complete the process, you are required to sign in with your Google account. Once you begin the process, Google will automatically find a compatible file. You will receive an OTA confirmation for download availability. All you need to agree to the terms and conditions. Now you will be ready to download the factory image.
